According to Landry’s Hospitality, the McCormick & Schmick’s location in the first block of East Wacker Drive will close this week due to its lease on the space expiring.
According to a statement from a company executive, efforts are being made to transfer employees from the restaurant to other eateries operated by the company.
“We are grateful to our dedicated team members and the loyal guests who have supported this location over the years,” COO Shah Ghani said in a statement. “It has been an honor to serve the Chicago community, and we invite guests to continue enjoying exceptional dining experiences at our nearby sister restaurants.”
Those restaurants include Morton’s The Steakhouse, The Palm, and Mastro’s Steakhouse, according to a press release.
The restaurant specialized in steak and seafood, offering dozens of different high-end entrees and appetizers to diners for years.
