Matthew Perry's resting place has finally gotten the proper recognition it deserves.
More than two years after the beloved actor died at age 54, his grave at the Forest Lawn cemetery in Hollywood Hills is now adorned with a custom plaque — which even features a subtle reference to the iconic show that shot Perry to fame.
An Instagram user recently uploaded a photo of the resting place's addition (see below), and fans flooded the post's comments section with supportive words for the late Friends star.
"My heart aches for him like I lost a true friend," wrote one Instagram user. "His acting got me through some of the darkest times of my life and I only wish that their was something out there that could have gotten him through his like he did for me ?I will forever miss him.. Be at peace sweet Matthew, you can rest now. ❤️"
Another person commented, "His passing was the first of a celebrity’s that deeply upset me when the news broke. I still get quite sad when I remember him :/ I hope he’s at peace ❤️"
