Former HGTV star Keith Bynum is giving his candid thoughts about the past year.
On December 30, Bynum took to his Instagram account to share pictures taken throughout 2025. Several of the photos featured his fiancé and Bargain Block co-star Evan Thomas. He also shared an image that showed him posing with Thomas and their other Bargain Block castmate, Shea Hicks-Whitfield. Bargain Block wasn't renewed after its fourth season, which ended in September 2025, as reported by Country Living.
In the caption of the post, Bynum shared that he had experienced a difficult year.
"I’m very happy to say goodbye to 2025. The first day of this year started off horrifically and honestly it didn’t get much better. Not every year is a great one, but I’m grateful for my friends and that our company survived the onslaught of bulls--t it faced," wrote Bynum in the post's caption.
He then stated that he "can feel a different energy already for 2026 and I love it."

Keith Bynum Opened up About His Show Getting Cancelled in a September 2025 Interview
Bynum opened up about Bargain Block, which began airing in 2021, getting cancelled in a September 2025 interview with People. He suggested that he was shocked when he was told the show didn't get renewed in February 2025. He explained that his and Thomas' "revenue stream was built heavily off [their] television contracts."
"And we had already been moving in a direction to fulfill a fifth season when it was announced that they were not going to move forward. We were just not in a place at all to prepare for that," explained Bynum during the interview.
He also noted that he didn't let his fans know that his show wasn't coming back until June 2025.
"Announcing it helped release a lot of the anger that we had felt for months following [the news]. We suffered for months, from February till June, and I finally was like, 'I can't take it anymore. I'm gonna say something.' I'm glad I did because what it did is it helped me get my anger out of me," said the NINE Design + Homes owner.
