Ryan Seacrest is looking forward to ringing in the new year with ex-girlfriend Julianne Hough, as the Dancing With the Stars staple will be joining his New Year's Rockin' Eve telecast from Las Vegas.
Chatting with Us Weekly ahead of Wednesday night's celebration, Seacrest, joined by his Times Square co-host Rita Ora, got to talking about reuniting on-screen with Hough.
"Julianne is a phenomenal host," he said.
"She, like you, can do everything, so we're excited to have them," he added, referencing Ora.
Hough will be co-hosting from Las Vegas with former NFL player Rob Gronkowski, who Seacrest said may be a wild card on live television.
"Gronk is hysterical, you don't know what he's going to do," he said.
Rounding out the lineup of co-hosts for the evening will be Chance the Rapperholding down the fort in Chicago.

Hough and Seacrest dated from 2010-2013.
The DWTS host, 37, talked about their relationship on Dax Shepard’s ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast last year and explained that she wanted to her career to be independent of his, as Seacrest, now 50, was enjoying established success as a TV personality. “I had this insecurity that I was like, ‘I don’t ever want anybody to think that I’m with him for this reason,’” she shared, per Us Weekly. “And so I then started playing smaller. I know that that was his experience in past situations and stuff, and so I again overcompensated, [I] was malleable to fit into exactly what somebody needed me to be for them to be happy.”
Since the time of her relationship with Seacrest, she married and later divorced former NHL player Brooks Laich. She's current single but has spoke about having a family of her own, especially as her brother, Derek Hough, is gearing up to welcome his first child with wife Hayley Erbert.
The American Idolhost has since been romantically linked to chef Shayna Taylor, and models Aubrey Page and Hilary Cruz.
