Bandfest Day 2 on Tuesday was every bit as thunderous as Day 1, just a little cloudier in the sky.
The 45th-annual Bandfest, a two-day lollapalooza of those 19 topnotch marching bands that will trek the legendary parade route on New Year’s Day, continued the extraordinary showcase with more rhythmic boom and bursts of brass at Pasadena City College’s Robinson Stadium.
Day 2, in contrast to Day 1, brought two sets of marching band performances, bringing smiles and cheers to audiences of all ages. The performers were from near and from far across the globe.
With bands themselves there were dancers and auxiliary performers who brought each performances alive on the field inside the stadium.
