The Marvel actors announced the birth of their second child in a Dec. 29 interview Hiddleston gave to GQ.
Hiddleston reflected on birth in the interview, noting that both he and his sister have recently welcomed new additions to their families and calling the experience "the most beautiful, profound, earth-shattering, life-altering."
Hiddleston also spoke in the Dec. 29 interview about his contentment with the more "ordinary" aspects of his life.
"I was reading the FT, and I was like, this is great. A perfect night. Dog on my lap. Everyone's here! I was feeling so happy to be together, to be the pack,” he told GQ. “I love my ordinary life and I like the part of myself that’s really ordinary."
On June 7, Ashton announced her pregnancy with the couple's second child in an interview with Vogue. Hiddleston and Ashton met back in 2019 while co-starring in the play "Betrayal" and welcomed their first child together in Oct. 2022.
The couple has kept their son, whose name has never been publicly revealed, out of the public eye. Similarly, the name and sex of their second child has remained private.
