— Chris Hummer (@chris_hummer) December 28, 2025Williams appeared in 12 games in 2025 and made two starts. He also appeared in one game in 2024, playing a single snap against Arkansas and taking his redshirt year. LSU ranked 126th nationally in 2025 with just 104 rushing yards per game and tied for 101st in scoring offense at 23 points per outing.
Williams only played two seasons of high school football at San Marcos High School in Texas, earning a 3-star rating with 247Sports Composite and helping pave the way for an offense that averaged 220 yards per game.
The Tigers have 14 players headed to the transfer portal so far as coach Lane Kiffin takes over the program following a 2025 season filled with mediocrity and drama. LSU began the season with College Football Playoff aspirations, only to finish 7-6.
