HENRIETTA, N.Y. — Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting on Wellington Drive in Henrietta on Saturday, at approximately 11:41 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a large group trying to flee and numerous bullet holes in a residence.
Deputies discovered two 17-year-old males with gunshot wounds. One was shot in the abdomen and the other in the leg. Deputies provided life-saving measures until EMS arrived and transported the teens to Strong Memorial Hospital.
Officials said neither injury appeared to be life-threatening.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. There is no perceived threat to the public. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
