Hollywood is rallying behind writer/actor Jimmy Fowlie as the longtime Saturday Night Live writer continues his urgent search for his missing sister.
Fowlie, who has worked on SNL for more than 50 episodes and is also known for The Other Two and English Teacher, has been using social media to spread the word about his sister, Christina Lynn Downer, who has been missing since late November. In recent days, a growing list of actors and comedians has amplified his plea by commenting on his posts, sharing his flyers, and urging others to help.
Parade previously reported on Fowlie’s initial Instagram post, in which he shared an LAPD missing persons report and wrote, “My sister has been missing, and we are worried that she isn’t safe.” The report noted that Christina was last seen in Los Angeles and that family and friends were concerned for her safety.
