Georgia will face Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal game at the Sugar Bowl next Thursday, Jan. 1. The Bulldogs could get a couple of key pieces back for that game.
During Saturday’s practice, CFP rules mandated a brief period be open to the media for viewing. During that 15-minute window, multiple local reporters noted that several injured Georgia players were seen practicing with the team.
According to the Athens Banner-Herald’s Marc Weiszer, wideout Colbie Young was going through individual drills with the rest of the receiver group like normal. Young has not played since breaking his leg in the Bulldogs’ first meeting with Ole Miss on Oct. 18.

The Banner-Herald also reported that defensive end Gabe Harris was not spotted during the open practice period. Neither was center Drew Bobo nor safety Kyron Jones.
Kickoff between the Bulldogs and the Rebels is set for 8 p.m. ET on Jan. 1.
