A spokesperson for the Sussexes echoed that sentiment, telling the publication, “Meredith Maines and Method Communications have concluded their work with Archewell. The Duke and Duchess are grateful for their contributions and wish them well.”

Maines’ exit adds to a growing list of communications shakeups around the couple. It’s believed to mark at least the 11th publicist departure connected to Meghan and Harry over the past five years.
Her departure followed the exit of Emily Robinson, who left her role as director of communications in October after only a few months on the job.

A spokesperson for the Duchess of Sussex told Us Weekly at the time that Robinson had overseen project-based work tied to With Love, Meghan and additional production support, adding that she “did an excellent job” and completed her work successfully. Both People and The Times of London also reported that Robinson left on her own accord.
The Sussexes have faced ongoing scrutiny over staff turnover. Past reporting, including a 2021 investigation by The Times of London, included allegations that Meghan was difficult to work for during her time in the royal household. More recently, NewsNation claimed the couple had lost 18 employees across their U.K. and U.S. operations, citing unnamed sources.
