Karoline Leavitt is the White House Press Secretary to President Donald Trump. She is the youngest person to ever hold the role and will be the first in history to maintain the position while pregnant.
Leavitt is married to 60-year-old Nicholas Riccio, a successful real estate businessman who has largely avoided the political spotlight. The two became engaged on Christmas Day in December of 2023 and welcomed their first child, a son named Niko, in July of 2024. The pair was married just days before the presidential inauguration on January 20, 2025.
Today, Friday December 26, 2025 Leavitt announced that she and Riccio are expecting their second child, a girl, due in May 2026.
Leavitt shared the news on her personal Instagram, posting a stunning photo of herself in a white sweater dress, cradling her baby bump in front of a lit Christmas tree.

Congratulatory messages immediately poured in for the 28-year-old.
One well-wisher reassured the working mom that she's doing a great job managing two huge jobs: "Congratulations! You're an awesome press secretary, but like you said, the most important and best is being a mother. You're doing great!"
Another wished Leavitt well with, "AMAZING!!! So happy for you! ❤️ Such a joyful and special time in life!!! Sending you lots of love and prayers!"
Others referred to the mom-to-be as "beautiful," "glowing," and "stunning," and many showed excitement for her and Riccio's growing family.
