In a moment of realization, Shapiro knew what was happening and screamed right back, telling her mother it was okay.
In her seven-decade career, Kitt was also known for the songs "I Want to Be Evil" and "Just an Old-Fashioned Girl." She also lent her voice for the character Yzma in The Emperor's New Groove and its sequel installments.
