ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Dezio and Gingello Foundation will serve the men of La Madonna Della Strada (Our Lady of the Streets) with food and haircuts on Christmas Eve at the shelter at 210 West Main St. From 2 to 4 p.m., they will be providing food catered by Capone’s Italian Eatery and free haircuts donated by area barbers.
The giving is in memory of Sister Grace Miller, a longtime advocate for homeless people, who recently passed away. Sister Grace founded La Madonna Della Strada to help the most vulnerable people of Rochester.
The Dezio and Gingello Foundation partners with the community on efforts to assist, enhance and empower people.
