GREECE, N.Y. — Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich celebrated the grand opening of the new Parks Maintenance Building on the Greece Town Campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday.
The facility, spanning over 8,200 square feet, offers storage for mowers, utility vehicles, and weather-sensitive supplies. It also features a wash station, workshop space for minor repairs, and a break room for staff.
“Today we’re proud to celebrate another investment in the Town of Greece that directly supports the quality of life our residents enjoy every day,” said Reilich.
Additionally, the site includes more than 20,000 square feet of outdoor storage for fleet vehicles and materials, enhancing organization and readiness.
Reilich emphasized the importance of the new facility for the Greece Parks Division, which maintains over 500 acres of parkland, 45 miles of trails, and numerous facilities.
“This new Parks Operations Center is about giving our Parks team the tools and space they need to do their jobs efficiently and safely,” said Reilich.
The new building aims to improve workflow, safety, and daily operations for the town’s parks staff.
