A woman was hospitalized with multiple injuries after the driver of a stolen vehicle struck her in a hit-and-run crash in the Loop Monday.

According to Chicago police, an unidentified individual was driving a silver sedan in the first block of West Randolph at approximately 6:57 p.m. when they struck the side of another vehicle.

    The silver vehicle jumped the curb and struck a 36-year-old woman, according to police.

    The driver of that vehicle then fled the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle remained on scene, according to authorities.

    The victim in the incident suffered injuries to her hips and back, and was transported to an area hospital, where she was listed in fair condition, police said.

    The silver vehicle had been reported stolen from the Englewood neighborhood on Sunday, according to Chicago police.
