UPDATE 12/22/2025 at 11:26 a.m. — Love Island USA’s Chelley Bissainthe has sparked reconciliation rumors with Ace Greene just days after she confirmed their split.
“I love & appreciate those who’ve been so loving, supportive & kind. It really means so much ❤️,” Chelley, 28, wrote via X on December 19 — less than one week after she revealed on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio that she and Ace, 23, had “decided to part ways.”
The reality star then expressed regret over going public with their breakup so soon and seemingly hinted at her future with Ace.
“I’ve been sitting with a lot of feelings, and one of them is regret for speaking publicly about something so personal before I really gave myself the time and care it deserved,” she continued. “I love & care so much about Ace, & I’m choosing to handle our relationship with more privacy & intention moving forward. I just ask that there be respect and kindness on both sides, & that the hate and speculation stop.”
Chelley concluded, “Moments like these are meant to be worked through in real life … not online. And right now my priority is peace, boundaries, and protecting what matters to me. Thank you guys ?.”

Love Island USA’s Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene are not ending 2025 as a couple.
In a sneak peek of the Monday, December 15, episode of SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, Chelley confirmed her split from Ace after meeting on season 7 of the Peacock reality show.
“So, Ace and I actually decided to part ways,” she told cohosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy. “It really was a tough decision for the both of us and very hard to decide, but, you know, when you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go, so I think we just got to that decision.”
According to Chelley, the decision to part ways came with a “mutual level of respect and understanding that we wanted this to work, but sometimes things don’t work.”

“Couples go through things that are very challenging, and sometimes the best thing to do is just make a decision that needs to be made,” she continued. “It was just a mutual agreement of like, you know what? This is for the best. I’ve definitely thought about our supporters, our fans and stuff, but I’ll trust that they’ll understand that this decision needed to be made if we were able to come to this mutual decision.”
Chelley and Ace connected on Love Island USA season 7 this past summer after briefly meeting in the real world months earlier. Although the pair didn’t make it to the finale, they quickly formed a connection in the villa that continued after the cameras stopped rolling.
In November, however, some fans questioned why the pair weren’t part of the cast announcement for Love Island: Beyond the Villa season 2. The upcoming reality show will follow several contestants from season 7 of Love Island USA as they navigate the real world following their unforgettable summer.
During her recent interview, Chelley was asked to share what went wrong in the relationship. At this time, the Florida native is staying mum.

I think we can be peaceful and just understand that we’re good with being able to be on the same page.”
Despite fans developing a strong connection to the couple, Chelley said she never felt pressure from the outside world to make the romance work. Instead, she made a promise with Ace to make the relationship not about the press or media.
“It’s because I truly love you and you truly love me, but you know, challenges happen in relationships and sometimes, you want to just be able to say, ‘You know what, let’s leave it right here before it turns into something it never needs to be,’” she said. “We can leave off on light and love, you know?”
Looking forward to 2026, Chelley is focused on moving forward away from the spotlight and away from any reality TV cameras.

“This whole process is gonna come with a lot of healing, a lot of growth, and a lot of time with myself,” she revealed. “So I just would love that privacy and be able to just focus on myself going forward. I think we’re put on this earth to experience people, so who knows how long that experience could last. Sometimes we want it to last a lifetime and sometimes it’s just for that moment in time. … At the end of the day, I wish Ace the best and for myself.”
Season 7 couples Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen as well as Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway remain together. As for winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales, they split in August.
