If your X (née Twitter) feed has been looking like SantaCon recently, there may be a very funny reason. So many fandoms, from Interview with the Vampire to Heated Rivalry and more have been making Christmas-themed memes with their favorite moments and it is a genuine delight.
Allow me to be your concierge to this meme that’s not exactly easy to find unless you’re already in the know. It’s about juxtaposition. Only the real sickos who watch shows about angst and murder get it. Replace a quote with something Christmasy, the sillier and more nonsensical the better, and you’re golden. But first, let’s cue an “AWWWW” from the crowd with this Christmas-themed take on Shane’s sad little text in the second episode of Heated Rivalry. It’s more mopey than twisted.
