Denver Broncos WR Pat Bryant released from hospital

The Denver Broncos experienced a scary moment in Sunday’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars after rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant was carted off on a stretcher after taking a tough shot while trying to catch a pass.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Pat Bryant released from hospital

After taking a hard hit in the final 30 seconds of Sunday’s game, Broncos rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant was taken to the hospital after being carted off on a stretcher and backboard.

Sean Payton told us after the game that Bryant had movement in his arms and legs, which was ultimately the best news to hear. He was diagnosed with a concussion and was released from the hospital late last night and will not be in concussion protocol.

Denver Post’s Luca Evans first reported that a source close to Bryant said that all of the tests, including neurological, came back negative and that he would be fine and that it’s nothing serious.

He will be in the NFL’s concussion protocol and will, without certainty, not be cleared to play on Christmas Day against the Kansas City Chiefs.

All that matters is that Bryant will be okay, and there shouldn’t be a rush by him or anybody for him to play until he’s symptom-free.
