A 52-year-old man has been arrested and charged after allegedly setting a fire inside a CTA Blue line train.
According to Chicago police, the man was arrested Friday in the 1500 block of North Damen Avenue.
It is alleged that the man set personal items on fire onboard the train while other passengers were present.
He was taken into custody, and is facing charges of aggravated arson and criminal damage to government property, both of which are felonies.
His detention hearing is set for Sunday, according to police.
