The couple announced the news on Friday, Dec. 19, in a joint post on social media, sharing a handwritten letter with their fans and followers that included the reason for their separation.

The country music artist, 35, and his now ex-partner, an entrepreneur, public speaker, and social media influencer, share four children — daughters Mila, 9, and Aria, 8, and sons Leo, 6, and Atlas, 3. They informed folks that while they are fully aware that stepping away from marriage has been “a very big decision,” it’s one that they “have not taken lightly.”
