BROCKPORT, N.Y. — The Brockport Police Department announced Friday the passing of K9 Officer Brock.
In a Facebook post, the police department says Brock was born on Jan. 13, 2016, and started his tour of duty in March of 2017. The police department says he “served his community and surrounding communities through narcotics detection, tracking, Officer protection, and evidence recovery.”
Brock worked alongside Officer Joshua Sime, until he retired in September.
“Brock touched not only the lives of the Officers he worked with but also that of the community he served,” the police department said.
