WILLIAMSON, N.Y. — A 26-year-old man from Williamson has been sentenced to prison for having child pornography.
Joseph Hudson III was sentenced to 13 years in prison, plus 15 years of supervised release. Prosecutors say on March 14, 2024, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) got information from Microsoft that a person had uploaded suspected child porn to a Microsoft platform.
The tip was shared with State Police, who were able to trace the uploads to Hudson. During a search warrant, investigators say they found various photos and videos of child porn on Hudson’s computer.
Hudson previously pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography in September.
Prosecutors say Hudson is a registered sex offender and was previously convicted of sexual abuse for having sexual contact with a child under 11 years old.
