ROCHESTER, N.Y. – East House’s “Holiday Angel Project” wrapped presents on Thursday to be given to people in recovery and their families.
The East House is a home for people recovering from addiction or mental health disorders. Organizers say a simple piece of good will is enough to move mountains.
“The typical financial stressors that really any family may face around the holidays. And this project helps to relieve that and helps to ensure that they can celebrate with their families, and again, engage in that holiday spirit,” said Joy Auch with Excellus BlueCross BlueShield.
