Brooks Nader and Erika Jayne compared notes on Gleb Savchenko—and it appears they had very different relationships with their Dancing with the Starspartner.
The Love Thy Nader star and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills veteran appeared on the Dec. 18 edition of Watch What Happens Live, where host Andy Cohen noted that his two guests had “a lot in common,” including the fact that they were both partnered with Savchenko on Dancing with the Stars. Jayne was paired with Savchenko during Season 24 in 2017, while Nader danced with the charismatic pro dancer in Season 33 last fall.
On WWHL, Jayne, 54, asked Nader, 28, how her partnership with Savchenko was. “It was bad, it was a disaster,” Nader replied.
Nader later revealed that she was intimate with Savchenko before their Dancing with the Stars pairing was even announced on Good Morning America. “We started, you know, being intimate day one,” she said. “The day I met him — the meet and greet.”
“I was newly divorced, and I told them, ‘Give me the hottest, douchiest guy,’ and they gave me Gleb,” she explained. “I felt as though there was so much sexual tension on the first day we met and that it would just get worse and worse. I just wanted to … let’s see what we’re working with! I was like, ‘Let’s just get that over with.’
Nader added that she “highly recommend[s]” sleeping with a dancer, but not to marry one.
Jayne had a different experience with the DWTS pro dancer. She previously told ABC that Savchenko was “beautiful, gorgeous to look at,” and added, “But he's an incredible dancer, really patient, and a really good teacher.”
Speaking with Cohen, Jayne reiterated that she did not have sexual tension with Savchenko when they were partners nearly a decade ago, adding, “But he was married and his wife was pregnant. I do appreciate Gleb. Like we were good partners.” (Savchenko and his wife, Elena Samodanova, divorced in 2020).
Nader, who accused Savchenko of cheating on her during their post-show relationship, also claimed on WWHL that he never apologized to her but instead "sued" her after the rumors surfaced.
Savchenko and Nader initially played coy about their romance. In September 2024, People magazine spotted them getting cozy backstage two weeks into the ABC dancing competition. At the time, Savchenko told the outlet, "We're so close and personal and she looks like that, and we just developed that chemistry.”
Once things soured between the two, Savchenko denied the cheating rumors. “I’m not a cheater,” the Russian American dancer told E! News. “I’m actually a family guy. I’m a relationship guy. I’m not a f---boy who goes around and goes on all these dates. I’m not even on dating apps.”
