The couple posed together at the "All Out: Comedy About Ambition" Gala Performance, held at New York City's Nederlander Theatre. For the December 18 event, Moffat wore a white button-down shirt underneath a houndstooth blazer and navy blue slacks. He finished off the look with a tie and black dress shoes. Rau opted to wear a black blazer and a red dress with velvet detailing. She accessorized her outfit with layered necklaces.

The comedian and actor spoke about his time on the NBC sketch comedy series in an October 2024 interview on SNL alums Dana Carvey andDavid Spade's podcast, Fly on the Wall. He shared that he "did like six auditions over the course of four summers" until he was hired as an SNL cast member for its 42nd season, which premiered in 2016. In addition, he spoke fondly of SNL.
