WARREN — Laura Ruth Allen Mason, 80, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House.
She was born May 24, 1945, in Oxnard, California, a daughter of David and Florence Phillips Allen Sr.
She retired from General Motors Lordstown and was a member of the Second Baptist Church and a former member of the First Christian Church of Newton Falls.
Survivors include sons, Robert L. Allen, Calvin M. Mason Jr., Anthony V. Mason and Denzel Aaron Stevens, all of Warren; daughter, LaTasha K. Mason of Warren; sisters, Florence Manns, Darlene Allen and Priscilla Johnson, all of Warren, and Diane Allen of Youngstown; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Henry Mason; son, Vincent D. Allen; brothers, David Allen Jr., Titus Allen and James Allen; and sisters, Mamie Cayson Hunt, Flora Allen, Martha Allen and Elaine Small.
Calling hours will be at 11 a.m., with services at noon Tuesday, at the Second Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Park Cemetery.
