Kaley Cuoco Talks Christmas With Tildy, Turning 40, and Her New Brand Partnership (Exclusive)

Seven years after The Big Bang Theory said goodbye, we sat down with actress Kaley Cuoco(who played Penny on the popular sitcom) to talk about what she's been up to recently.

With Christmas just one week away, we asked Cuoco her plans for the upcoming holiday.

    "We love having Christmas Day just us with our parents and Tildy," Cuoco tells Parade.

    "The Flight Attendant" star is excited for the holidays, especially now that her daughter, Matilda, 2, is getting a bit older. Cuoco said that she and her fiancé, actor Tom Pelphrey, plan to spend the Christmas holiday with their 2-year-old daughter, Matilda, and their immediate families.

    "Christmas Day is now Matilda day and it’s all about her. We put together her gifts and spend the day in cozies," she said.

    This Christmas will also be Cuoco's first in her 40's.

    "I definitely feel 40, considering I need glasses pretty much 24/7 now," she explains with a laugh.

    Meanwhile, Cuoco has teamed up with Subaru to help kick off the 18th annual Share the Love Event, a nationwide campaign supporting local and national charities from November through January.

    The Subaru Share the Love® Event was created in 2008 by Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) as a way to bring Subaru owners together to make an impact in the community while simultaneously showcasing Subaru vehicles.

    As for why Cuoco decided to partner up with the company, she tells us that she loves the "giving back" aspect of the initiative.

    "I love larger companies that truly believe in giving back," Cuoco tells Parade of the decision to partner with the company. "Subaru has done that year after year, they really want to make people’s lives better and I love the example it sets for other companies and businesses."

    From November 20, 2025 through January 2, 2026, Subaru will donate $250 to a customer’s chosen charity for every new vehicle that is sold or leased. Subaru of America and its retailers will be partnering with The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America, The National Park Foundation, as well as over 830 local hometown charities, as chosen by local Subaru Retailers.
