First responders were called to the scene of an apparent aircraft crash Wednesday afternoon at the DuPage Airport.
The West Chicago Police Department said it was at the airport assisting the West Chicago Fire Protection District and DuPage Airport Authority personnel “on what appeared to be an aircraft crash.”

The DuPage Airport is located about 29 miles west of downtown Chicago and is owned by the DuPage Airport Authority.
