Love Island USA Season 7 winner Amaya Espinal was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital for emergency surgery over the weekend due to severe abdominal pain, according to TMZ.
Espinal is currently hospitalized and in stable condition, however, the cause of her abdominal pain remains unknown.
According to the publication, Espinal had been in Los Angeles, Calif. filming Season 2 of the Love Island USA spin-off series Beyond the Villa. However, it appears she was not on set filming when this medical emergency occurred. Espinal has not yet addressed her health scare publicly.

Espinal was a fan-favorite contestant on the most recent season of Love Island USA and won with fellow contestant Bryan Arenales, but the pair spilt shortly after the finale. The couple announced their breakup just two days after the reunion episode aired in a statement shared on Espinal's Instagram account on Aug. 27.
"My Papayas —Bryan and I are no longer together. After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys," Espinal wrote at the time. "Our visions didn’t align and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty. “All love here and I truly wish him the best. — Amaya Papaya.”
Arenales addressed the breakup via his Instagram Stories a few hours later.
“Amaya and I have decided to go our separate ways. Unfortunately, we were not on the same page, and that is OK," he said. "We both gained clarity that we are on different paths right now. I am thankful for the time we have spent together, and I wish her nothing but the best moving forward.”
