TASS News Agency quoted sources at Russian authorities as saying that investigations related to the financing of the so-called” Tawhid and jihad “terrorist group, linked to the terrorist organization of “Tahrir Al-Sham “led to the arrest of two persons of Uzbek nationality. Last June, the Russian Higher Court announced that the so-called Tahrir al-Sham is considered as a terrorist organization, affirming that its name is directly linked to the terrorist organization of Jabhat al-Nusra.
