Tonight, The Voice will reveal the winner of Season 28. And it will be interesting to see if the coaches got it right or if America made its own choice when it voted in wildcard artists DEK of Hearts and 14-year-old Max Chambers.
Each coach selected their own singer, with Reba McEntire choosing Aubrey Nicole, Michael Bublé picking Jazz McKenzie, Niall Horan selecting Aiden Ross and Snoop Dogg opting for Ralph Edwards. But even Reba admitted that DEK of Hearts had a shot at winning the whole thing after seeing them perform on night two of the Playoffs.

That doesn’t mean that Reba isn’t confident in her choice of Aubrey, who she “loves to pieces,” but she also is a fan of DEK because, as she exclusively told Parade, “I am a huge harmony person. I grew up with Pake, my older brother, my little sisterSusie, and me. We were The Singing McEntires, so when you get that real tight harmony like that, it just blows me away.”

Of course, in the Blind Auditions, when Reba heard more than one voice, she immediately hit her button. “I wanted them so bad, but they didn't choose me,” she said.
But she’s very happy with her choice of Aubrey, who was a one-chair turn, who Reba took all the way to the finale.
“Aubrey can sing country. She can sing anything,” Reba said. “When I listen to Aubrey, it really touches my heart. It touches my soul. There's great singers, and there’s singers that have that specialness. I don’t know if it’s from the angels or whatever, but it really touches your heart. That’s what makes it special.”
Michael, of course, is hoping for a "three-peat," and he has a double shot at it with both Aiden and Max in the competition. He didn’t select Max, but he’s thrilled that America did.
“He's 14 years old, and he sings with the powers of a seasoned veteran,” Michael told Parade. “Also, he's a special kid. Once you get to know him, I really can't even tell you how much time I spent with him and his mom, Crystal. He has his head on his shoulders. He's smart and humble. He could be a jerk because he's so talented, but he’s still so down-to-earth.”

As big of a fan of Max that Michael is, the bottom line is he still picked Jazz to represent Team Bublé. And he reasoned, “I think she is more than just the greatest voice that has been on The Voice. She's the kind of person that is so special that that light shines through. She is all of the things you hope that a star will be. She's beautiful and kind and funny. She's very spiritually connected, I think. I just couldn't get over the fact that every week she would come here, grow exponentially, and then go back and sell phones at AT&T.”
But Michael isn’t the only coach with two artists in the finale. Niall also has a dual shot at winning with Aiden and DEK of Hearts.
“I don’t like making those decisions,” Niall said about having to chose Aiden over DEK of Hearts. “America showed up and helped me out. I’m so glad they made that decision because this would be a very different final without DEK of Hearts.”

Niall said he selected Aiden over DEK because the Texan is one of the most talented singers he’s seen in a long time.
“I watched every Monday and Tuesday night, and it’s the way he stands out,” he explained. “He's got an emotional connection to songs at 20 years old that I've never seen. His delivery is amazing, and he's technically an unbelievably sweet guy. He's one of the ones that I'm very excited about post the show. I kept telling him it's not all about tonight and tomorrow night, it's about what happens afterwards. I think he's got a real shot.”
That said, Niall wouldn’t be surprised if DEK of Hearts walks away with the title. They’ve already proved their popularity by winning the Mic Drop competition and then by getting the wildcard vote into the finale.

“We know twice that America loves DEK of Hearts, which is amazing,” he told Parade. “We already have proof that people like them and vote, so one more push. I told them just give me two solid performances in typical Hearts fashion, and they should be able to take on the world because they are incredible with the wall of sound that they create. It’s very rare with three voices that you get three great singers in a group. I can’t wait to hear the record they make.”

And last but in no way least is Snoop with Ralph, who has been nicknamed Wreck-It Ralph because his powerful voice wrecks the competition.
“He's a very powerful vocalist,” Snoop said. “He’s got the look, the feel and the story. Eleven times he tried out for The Voice, and the twelfth time, he made it. It's like on the Twelfth-day of Christmas, he was able to receive his gifts.”
The Voice finale airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streams next day on Peacock.
