Sanfratello is a Character Counts scholarship finalist, presented by Parker & Sons, due to the impact he has made academically and in the community.

Sanfrantello has a GPA of 3.8 and was an All-State academic when he was playing baseball last spring.

He has been the Veritas Prep House Leader from 2025-26 and was chosen by teachers and faculty to lead the seniors at the school. The title is the highest honor for peer leadership at the school.

“As a house leader on campus at Veritas, I get the opportunity to set culture for the entire school,” Sanfratello said. “It starts with the senior class and then moves to the underclassmen, where I have the ability to help them rise up into young, virtuous people as well as make sure they feel heard and make sure their ideas are being implemented to make a difference on campus.”

As a captain of the football team, Sanfratello is proud of being a leader on and off the field and building relationships with his teammates.

“There’s nothing better for me to coach them up on the field but also coach them up as young men in the weight room or even on campus, driving them to team dinner or whatever,” Sanfratello said.

“The number one thing is character. Success on the field matters. The record is always good, but who my friends are becoming is most important to me.”

Sanfratello has also been a captain for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) for three years. As a captain of FCA, he is a candidate for the FCA Influence Award in 2026.

He said he takes pride in being a leader and wants everybody to feel included and heard in the program.

“I get a chance to lead my peers spiritually by serving them and putting their needs first in whatever way I can and making sure their ideas are being heard,” Sanfratello said.

Sanfratello also worked with the Youth With A Mission program, where he worked with a team for two years building houses in Tijuana, Mexico. He has also been a summer counselor for grade school kids during his summers prior to his sophomore and junior years of high school.

Sanfratello hopes to go to college and pursue his passion for education, football, entrepreneurship and leadership.
