Mr. Neal Lankford, age 88 of the Tanglewood Community, died Sunday morning, December 14 at High Point Riverview in Carthage. He is survived by: wife, Brenda Gass Lankford; 2 sons, Jimmy Lankford and wife Debbie of Hartsville, Ronnie Lankford and wife Christy of Gordonsville; 6 grandchildren, Elissa Proctor and husband Jesse of Hendersonville, Tina Chasse and husband Ryan of Hendersonville, Seth Lankford and wife Erin of Millersville, Jacob Lankford and wife Sarah of Carthage, Davie Lankford and wife Tyra of Baltimore, Carrie Martin and husband Jake of Tampa, FL; sister-in-law, Becky Smiley and husband David of Nashville; 7 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Lankford is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral home where his service will be conducted on Thursday morning, December 18 at 11:00 AM. Bro. Tim Frank and Bro. Jim Wilburn will officiate. Military salute by American Legion Post #57. Interment in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Ryan Chasse, Seth Lankford, Jacob Lankford, Jesse Proctor, Heath Chasse, Michael Cole Gass, Jacob Martin, Davie Lankford.
Visitation on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
