Then on Sunday, tight end Brady Hunt announced that he would be back next year after being given another season of eligibility.

He missed the entire 2023 season due to an ankle injury. This past season, he had 21 catches for 168 yards. He has also emerged as a short-yardage situational runner, as he rushed the ball three times this year for only three yards, but he scored on two of those carries.
With Sellers coming back, the Gamecocks have one of the best quarterbacks in all of college football. Putting talented players around him at the skilled positions is key, and getting a tight end back like Hunt is a good start for Beamer.
