Actress Christina Chongrevealed she's done filming the fifth and final season of the Paramount+ series, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
In a December 13 Instagram upload, Chong, who has played La'an Noonien-Singh since the show's first season, posted picture that showed her Star Trek: Strange New Worlds trailer.
"Today was the end of a 5 year mission for La’an, and what an incredible one it was…," wrote Chong in the post's caption.
Several Star Trek fans took to the post's comments section to share their support and appreciation for Chong.

"La'an is my favourite character on the show. Thank you for bringing such an interesting character to life for us!" chimed in a sixth person.
Christina Chong Spoke About La'an's Character Development in the Show's Third Season
During a July 2025 interview with JoBlo Celebrity Access, Chong discussed La'an's character development from the first season to season 3, which premiered in July 2025. She explained La'an has been able to show off her fun and free side after facing the Gorn.
"The fact that she has faced her biggest fear, the Gorn, and again, they were in battle and she won, and she managed to protect her family, her Starfleet family, I think now here's an element of her dropping her guard. It's like, 'Okay, I can win. I can survive. Everything's okay,'" said Chong during the interview.
Chong also referenced that La'an and Mr. Spock (Ethan Peck) had a romance in the show's third season.
"She's allowing herself to just lighten up and experience and live more. And that also involves maybe some romantic moments as well," said Chong.
The fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is set to start airing in 2026.
