In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump said: “We mourn the loss of three great American patriots in Syria — two soldiers and one civilian interpreter — and we pray for the three wounded soldiers who have just been confirmed to be in good condition.”
He added: “This was a terrorist attack by ISIS against the United States and Syria, in a highly dangerous area of Syria that is not fully under control. the Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa is extremely angry and disturbed by this attack, and there will be a very strong response.
