Following the premiere of Swift's new Disney+ docuseries about her history-making Eras Tour, Swifties have been trying to figure out how much money the pop star gave to her backup dancers in their bonus checks, even though the exact amount was bleeped out in the video.

In episode 2 of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour I The End of an Era, the "Anti-Hero" songstress can be seen giving out handwritten cards to her backup dancers and other members of the tour crew, leaving many of them in shock when the amount of their bonus checks was revealed.
Fan-favorite Eras Tour dancer Kam Saunders was the one to read the card from Swift aloud, but he was censored when he said the total amount each person was receiving as a bonus. His mouth was also blurred out, giving Swifties quite the challenge when trying to decipher what number he said.
But some online sleuths believe they figured out what Saunders said, with several users theorizing that each person got a whopping $750,000.

Many also pointed out that Swift was reported to give a total of nearly $200 million in bonuses to her crew, so fans were already expecting the amount for each person to be quite high.
"She gave all the truck drivers who helped with the tour $100,000 so I’m assuming her personal dancers would get a lot more," someone else theorized. (The bonuses given to the tour truck drivers after the first U.S. leg of the tour in 2023 were confirmed to be $100,000 each.)
Without any confirmation from Swift or the recipients of the bonus checks, the monetary amount is purely speculative. But fans know one thing for sure: whatever amount she did give was definitely life-changing for many of the people on the tour.
In the video, several people in the room physically reacted with shock when the amount was read aloud, with a number of them instantly getting emotional and covering their mouths. One person was doubled over with their hands on their knees, while another even appeared to be using their inhaler after hearing the amount.
"I'm gonna pass out," production assistant Max Holmes said in one of the clips after reading the card.
"Bonus day is so important because setting a precedent with the Eras Tour is really important to me," Swift said in the clip. "People who work on the road, if the tour grosses more, they get more of a bonus."
"And these people just work so hard and they're the best at that what they do," Swift said, adding that she gave a handwritten note to everyone on the crew to personally thank them and share their bonus amount.
"It feels like Christmas morning when you finally get to say thank you," she said.
The first two episodes of The End of an Era are currently available to stream on Disney+. The rest of the series will drop in two-episode installments on Dec. 19 and Dec. 26.
