American Pickers star Mike Wolfe just set the record straight on Danielle Colby's claim that the History Channel show was "done."
On Saturday, Dec. 13, Wolfe, 61, took to Instagram with a carousel of photos of himself doing voiceover work for his new series History's Greatest Picks With Mike Wolfe, which premieres in February 2026.

"VO in the studio for the new show I’m doing for @history that will air Feb 22nd," Wolfe captioned his update. "It’s of course called History Greatest Picks… It's nothing I’ve picked, it will be stories from other pickers and the artifacts they have found…. AND how they’ve changed hands over the past 50 years. Anything from Babe Ruth’s jersey to the Mustang from the movie Bullet."
After noting that the upcoming series will "move fast,' as each episode will cover eight stories with the help of archival footage and "a little reenactment," he addressed Colby's recent claim suggesting that American Pickers was ending after 27 seasons.
"@americanpickers is still on the landscape for new shows," Wolfe clarified. "I can’t wait for you guys to experience the stories from the road and the people that have uncovered some epic pieces."

On Dec. 3, Colby, 50, took to Instagram with a lengthy video, in which she told followers, "I just found out that American Pickers is done."
"So, I am at this epic crossroads where I’ve laid out what I want to do. So I already have that plan in motion," she continued. "But now is the time where I like have to, like, fully dig in and commit to this plan that I have laid out. And without the financial support of American Pickers, it’s going to be a wild one.”
When asked if American Pickers was canceled, a History Channel representative told Parade, “There is no truth to it. The fact is, we aren’t producing new episodes right now because we have a season in the can already and Mike was doing his new show, but we could go back into production early next year.”
Colby later clarified in a different video, "Mike called me yesterday. It was one of those things that he reminded me we’re never over. Things are always still happening. Things are always still going. My perspective was more from a paycheck standpoint.”
Although Wolfe commented on the follow-up video from Colby, Saturday's post marked the first time he directly addressed the claim.
