In a post shared this past October on X, Cena affirmed his plans to retire from the ring. “Despite any speculation or rumors, on July 6, 2024 I announced I would retire from WWE in ring participation,” he wrote. “I am far from perfect but strive to be a person whose word has value. 12/13/25 will be my final match. I am beyond grateful for every moment WWE has given me. I am excited for 12/13 & look forward to seeing all of you one last time.”

John Cena will have his final-ever WWE fight at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13, 2025, at 8 p.m. E.T. The farewell match will take place at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. It will mark the end of a long retirement tour for the athlete-slash-actor, which began during the Netflix premiere of Monday Night Raw on January 6, 2025.
WWE promoted the bout with a simple, emotional tagline: “The last time is now. Don’t miss out.”

Where is John Cena’s last match streaming?
As with last month's final Monday Night Raw smackdown, Cena's big curtain call will be available to stream live; however, this time, the chosen streaming service is Peacock. (You can access the NBCUniversal streamer via two main subscription plans: Peacock Premium with ads for $10.99 per month or $109.00 per year, and Peacock Premium without ads for $16.99 per month or $169.99 per year.) Internationally, you can tune in via Netflix.
Peacock secured the streaming rights to the coveted sports event through a multi-year partnership between his parent company, NBCUniversal, and the WWE, which made Saturday Night's Main Event an exclusive Peacock series. ESPN+ had previously clinched WWE's premium live events with a deal done this past September, kicking off with Wrestlepalooza, but the Saturday Night's arrangement meant that Cena's farewell match would remain Peacock property.
