The Denver Broncos released their final injury report of the week ahead of Sunday’s non-conference showdown, and one starter on the offensive line popped up as a non-participant in Friday’s final practice.

After Friday’s final practice of the week, the Denver Broncos ruled right tackle Mike McGlinchey as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers after he popped up on the injury report with a shoulder injury. The concern here is that this injury popped up on the last practice day of the week, and he was a non-participant, which isn’t always a good sign, but it could have also meant he was held out for precautionary reasons.
Regardless, McGlinchey’s status is worth monitoring because Packers star pass rusher Micah Parsons would be lining up against the right tackle at times on Sunday. As it currently stands, Denver’s right tackle on the depth chart was Alex Palczewski, but he’s starting at left guard after Ben Powers was placed on injured reserve.
Second-year tackle Frank Crum could be the next man up if McGlinchey is unable to go.
As for Powers, he returned to practice this week, and his 21-day window opened, but he will not play on Sunday against the Packers. He’s getting closer though and could return against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant was also ruled out with his hamstring injury.
Tight end Nate Adkins (knee) and defensive lineman D.J. Jones (ankle) were full participants on Friday and are ready to go on Sunday against Green Bay.
Broncos add TE Marcedes Lewis back to the practice squad
After being waived yesterday, veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis cleared waivers and signed back to the team’s practice squad. He doesn’t have any more practice squad elevations remaining, but he’ll continue to provide a leadership presence for players like Caleb Lohner and Patrick Murtagh, and the rest of Denver’s tight end room.
Kickoff is set for 2:25 p.m. MT on CBS.
