December 11-14, 2025 Eppley Recreation Center – College Park, MD 25 yards (SCY), Prelims/Finals Psych Sheet Results on Meet Mobile: “2025 Katie Ledecky Invitational”The Katie Ledecky Invitational, formerly known as both the NCAP Invitational and Tom Dolan Invitational over the years, kicked off in Maryland on Thursday with some strong performances from the evening’s distance swimmers.
Badger Swim Club’s Vanessa Delev delivered a top swim in the girls’ 12 & under 200 back, winning the event in a best time of 2:07.08. Delev raced into the wall over four seconds ahead of runner-up Molly Joseph (2:11.21) and shaved .7 off of her previous lifetime best. Her performance marked the fastest time in the country so far this season for the girls’ 11-12 age group, bumping her up from where she previously sat at #3.
Delev also won the girls’ 12 & under 500 free, touching first in 5:08.91. While she was about a second and a half off of her personal best, she prevailed in the event by almost 14 seconds; teammate Madison Lord took 2nd in 5:22.35.
The girls’ 1000 free saw a number of big time drops across the board. Milly Birch of Asphalt Green Unified Aquatics won the 13-14 age group in 10:00.18, dropping 10 seconds to log a new personal best time. Not far behind her, runner-up Madison Suchecki clocked 10:02.69 to knock an astonishing 53.9 seconds off of her lifetime best. Birch and Suchecki’s performances rank them 2nd and 3rd, respectively, on the list of top times this season in the girls’ 13-14 1000 free.
Leading the way in the girls’ open 1000 free was Long Island Aquatic Club’s Alex Siegel, who stopped the clock in 9:45.43 to post her first sub-9:50 performance. Just behind her was teammate Una Diaz, who dropped over 16 seconds to turn in a best time of 9:49.32. The pair of 15-year-olds were the only swimmers in the field to break 9:50.
On the boys’ side, 12-year-old Jacob Roddin stunned in the 12 & under 500 free. Roddin, who swims for Machine Aquatics, touched 1st in 5:17.25 and knocked over 32 seconds off of his lifetime best.
The boys’ 12 & under 200 back went to Justin Lu of Long Island Aquatic Club, who charged into the wall in a best time of 2:07.48. The 12-year-old dropped almost three seconds, marking his first time going under 2:10, and launched himself up the season’s national rankings. He now sits at #9 on the list of top times in the boys’ 11-12 200 back so far this season.
Turning in the fastest performance of the boys’ 13-14 1650 free was Badger Swim Club’s Jake Yonge. The 14-year-old prevailed in 16:13.76, marking a new best time by over seven seconds and bumping him up to 11th on the ranking of top times so far this season in that event for his age group. Behind him, Xan Randolph took the runner-up spot in 16:18.33, lowering his lifetime best by 16 seconds, while Evangelos Diamantis dropped 31 seconds to finish 3rd in 16:25.12.
17-year-old James Darcy of Long Island Aquatic Club took home the title in the boys’ open 1650 with a time of 14:58.09. Darcy, who is committed to swim for Notre Dame next fall, knocked almost 23 seconds off of his previous personal best time (15:20.96), which puts him at #5 on the ranking of top times this season in the boys’ 17-18 1650 free.
