India cricket team assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate explained the rationale behind the bizarre decision to promote Axar Patel to number 3 in the IND vs SA 2nd T20I. Meanwhile, ten Doeschate also stated that the team has absolute faith in captain Suryakumar Yadav and vice-captain Shubman Gill despite their poor form.
“I can understand from the outside it looks like a concern, but I have got absolute faith in both of them coming good at the right time for us,” ten Doeschate added.
