Nicki Minajis leaning further into her public support for Donald Trump andJD Vance — and she’s doing it loudly.
The rapper, 43, has spent the past several weeks posting increasingly pro-Trump content across social media, and on Thursday she doubled down once again, praising Vance and amplifying the administration’s messaging to her 25.5 million followers on X.
Minaj called Vance “an assassin” in one of several posts.
“Nothing brings me joy like the Vance memes & knowing he leaned into it like a boss," she wrote alongside an image of the Chucky Doll. "But make no mistake, Vance is an assassin. Don’t debate him. On anything. Quick as a computer. Maybe quicker.”

On Wednesday he wrote simply, “Nicki>Cardi,” sparking immediate uproar online.
Minaj replied on Thursday with, “The Vance > The Gav Nots,” a reference to California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

Minaj's bold statements are hitting her fans — lovingly called "Barbs" — in various ways.
Glee star Kevin McHale slammed her statements before calling her "one of the best."

One fan accused the rapper of hypocrisy, pointing out that she's an "undocumented immigrant herself," seemingly referencing Trump and Vance's anti-immigrant rhetoric.
"Nicki minaj being an undocumented immigrant herself with a poc and queer fanbase is shamelessly reposting xenophobic and transphobic white supremacist propaganda," they wrote. "She’s really going out sad."
Meanwhile, some fans have supported her. "Nicki followed someone yall don’t 'approve of' and GUESS WHAT? The sun still comes out tomorrow, the grass will still be green, the sky will still be blue, and she will still be the queen of rap. MOVING ON!" they wrote.
