City of Sheffield Diving Club’s Archie Biggin has committed to the University of Michigan as a part of the Wolverine men’s 2026 recruiting class.
I am thrilled to announce that I have verbally committed to the University of Michigan to continue my academic and athletic career. I would like to give a huge thank you to my coaches Georgia, Ross and Sam who have guided me through the last 11 years at @sheffield_diving , I wouldn’t be where I am today without you! Finally I’d like to thank my family for supporting me. I am so grateful to @umichswimdive for opportunity and can’t wait to get started with the team. Go blue!
Biggin, a native of Great Britain, where he specializes in cliff diving. He has competed in multiple Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series stops, where he would compete off of 27-meter platforms, including Polignano a Mare, Italy, and Oslo, Norway.
Biggin is the youngest high diver ever to compete from 27 meters.
One of his best performances on the platform came at the 2024 North East Regionals, where he set a personal best of 438.00, taking silver.

1-meter (10 Dives): 369.15 3-meter (6 Dives): 257.10 3-meter (10 Dives): 411.95 Platform (9 Dives): 476.25The Wolverine men finished as runners-up to Indiana at last season’s Big Ten Swimming and Diving Championships.
Michigan’s top diver on 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform was Cameron Gammage. He finished 13th on 1-meter with a score of 312.45, 18th on 3-meter with 281.15, and 10th on platform with 315.35.
Gamage, who was a senior last season, also represented the Wolverines at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. FInishing 24th on 1-meter, and 48th on 3-meter.
Biggin brings high-level experience and a wide range of events to the Wolverines’ diving squad.
Biggin joins Walter Zenman, Oliver Shao, Aiden Moy, and Lucas Young in Michigan’s 2026 recruiting class.
