"We are deeply saddened to hear of Frank Cozzolino’s passing. Frank was an exceptional craftsman whose kindness, integrity and unwavering dedication touched every project and every person he encountered," the network said.
Cozzolino starred alongside longtime friend Mike Holmes on many shows, beginning in 2003 with "Holmes on Homes."
"I am devastated by the passing of my good friend Frank Cozzolino," Holmes shared via Instagram on Friday, December 5. "Frank made us better. His impact will live on in every home he helped. Frank could walk into the toughest electrical disaster, crack a joke in his style, and suddenly the whole room felt lighter. That’s just who he was. Frank wasn’t just good at what he did — he really cared. He cared about doing it right. He cared about the people he worked with. He cared about every homeowner he helped. Frank will forever be part of the Holmes family. Miss you buddy."
In 2022, Cozzolino opened up about a "very rare liver disease" diagnosis he received a decade earlier.
View this post on Instagram"I was basically told I had five years left on this liver. You need a liver or you’re going to die. It was like a truck had hit me," he said, noting that he underwent a successful transplant in 2017, calling it a "second chance at life."
After his passing, Cozzolino's daughter revealed that his liver disease had returned, and he underwent a second transplant in July 2025.
"There were many post-operation complications, and he conquered each new battle, until he was diagnosed with lymphoma. Ever the fighter, he never gave up," she explained.
