ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A woman faces an assault charge after a man was stabbed in the area of Lyell Avenue and State Street on Wednesday evening.
Rochester Police said they went to Rochester General Hospital, where the 25-year-old man had been dropped off by a private vehicle. He had been stabbed in the upper body and is expected to survive.
Police investigated and learned where the stabbing happened and that it was a domestic situation. A 28-year-old woman was taken into custody.
