Rightfully dubbed the Blizzard Brew, the new release is heading out as an exclusive, limited-time offer dedicated to Bills Mafia.
“It’s no secret Bills Mafia is one of the most passionate fanbases in sports, with fans in Buffalo and beyond who will do anything for their team," Todd Allen, senior vice president of marketing for Bud Light at Anheuser-Busch, shared in a statement. "That dedication is on full display when they show up to Highmark Stadium with shovels in hand, and we couldn’t be more honored to show up for Bills fans by creating a brew that both showcases and celebrates their years of commitment to the team.”
Bud Light's Blizzard Brew Beer Is Made With Real Snow From Highmark Stadium
Following the first snowfall at Highmark, Bud Light worked with the NFL team to collect the snow and transport it to Anheuser-Busch’s brewery in Baldwinsville, New York. From there, the company said the snow was seamlessly integrated into the standard brewing process, so we expect it to taste similar to the brand's standard American light lager (albeit more sentimental).

The limited-edition brew is also getting a cool makeover, with custom cans and packaging.

Bud Light's Blizzard Brew will be available in 16-ounce cans only at participating Buffalo-area retailers through the end of the regular season, according to the official release. According to the Dec. 10 announcement, former Bills wide receiver Andre Reed, who played 15 seasons for the franchise, will also join Bud Light and the Bills at Highmark Stadium during the final regular-season home game to help commemorate the stadium, Bills Mafia and cheer on the team with a special Blizzard Brew.
