MARION, N.Y. — Residents in the Marion Central School District voted Tuesday, 128-32, in favor of a capital project. The work will include renovations to the music and ag/tech wing at the Junior-Senior High School, along with roof and restroom work and making facilities compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The estimated maximum aggregate cost is $24,125,000. The vote OKs appropriating $3,865,152 from a capital reserve fund and raising the rest from district taxpayers.
According to the district, construction is to start in June 2027 and be finished sometime in 2029.
