With the release of the year-end charts on Tuesday, Dec. 9, Billboard unveiled Swift's Showgirl album as the No. 1 record of the year just two months after its release in early October.

The "Opalite" songstress had not just one, but two albums in the top 10 on Billboard's list, with her 2024 album The Tortured PoetsDepartment coming in at No. 6.

Swift, 35, was one of two artists to have two separate albums make the top 10, along with Morgan Wallen, who ranked in the No. 2 spot with I'm the Problem, as well as No. 7 with his 2023 album, One Thing At a Time.

Other artists like SZA, Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish and Chappell Roan were also listed within the top 10.

Per usual, Swift's fans weren't surprised by her chart-topping victory, though plenty of other music fans weren't particularly satisfied with the ranking.

"Oh Taylor, the GOAT you are," one Swiftie gushed in the comments on the BillboardInstagram post announcing the top 10.

Someone else rejoiced, "The Life of a Showgirl is the biggest and most iconic album of all time."

"With 2 months, the MUSIC INDUSTRY," another user chimed in.

But some fans noticed a number of artists they assumed would have made the top 10, including Lady Gaga for her latest record, Mayhem.

"Where's Mayhem?" one user asked, while another perplexed fan commented, "No gaga?!? Huh... interesting." (Mayhem ended up coming in at No. 30.)

"How is ‘Am I the Drama?’ by Cardi B not up here [in the top 10]," someone else asked, while the hit rap album was placed at No. 166.

Another fan suggested that Miley Cyrus' Something Beautiful "deserves" to be ranked at No. 1, but it didn't make the top 200 albums at all.

Olivia Dean's Art of Loving also didn't crack the top 200, which one fan insisted was "crazy work."

Other albums that were listed in the top 20 for the year include Tyler, The Creator's CHROMAKOPIA (No. 11), the KPOP Demon Hunters soundtrack (No. 13), Gracie Abrams' The Secret of Us (No. 15), Jelly Roll's Beautifully Broken (No. 20), Benson Boone's Fireworks & Rollerblades (No. 27) and many, many more.
